A.P. Reworks Two (12″) pre-order

Release date : August 2020

“The remixes are based on various material from about 6 DAT tapes. I did not choose any specific tracks, rather sections and parts of all the recordings on those tapes. I did not seek to do a remix, it just grew up of that remastering project (for Extreme records). I think I could not find any artist in any genre, anywhere, that would be more interesting to rework / remix than Muslimgauze, so I definitely feel very honored having been able to record these remixes.” Anders Peterson

Panasonic : Remixes by Muslimgauze (LP / Digital)

Panasonic : 2 remixes by Muslimgauze / 1 remix by Zoviet France

“Ben Ponton and Mark Warren from Zoviet France and Bryn Jones aka Muslimgauze sent me these Panasonic remixes in autumn 1996. After that they got buried under more busy projects for 23 years. Last year when archiving old DAT-tapes I came across with them again and asked Ilpo Väisänen and Ben Ponton wether they feel like releasing them.”

Release date (digital) : 21 May 2020
Release date (LP) : 12 June 2020

remix 1 (4:28) by Muslimgauze is based on the track ‘Hapatus’ from the first album of Panasonic.

remix 2 (7:45) is based on ‘Radiokemia’, same album.

“In 2008 during a large Muslimgauze transferring and remastering project for Roger Richards / Extreme Music, A.P recorded a remix as a bonus addition, applying a more drone and ambience – based approach to counterpoint the Muslimgauze rhythms.
The year after three additional remixes were recorded as well, based on material transferred from the original DAT tapes from Bryn Jones archive. Having laid dormant since then these remixes are now released as part of the Staalplaat Muslimgauze archive series, with kind permission from Roger Richards.”
